Abandoned, old, graffiti.. Where?

Recommended Posts

A group of us are looking for some old run down buildings, sweet graffiti, etc.

Been searching on google for a while and haven't came up with too much.

I did find that nelsonville has a water treatment plant that's run down. But I read it's been torn down.

I did not know the big "grain elevator" off 70 and Hamilton was abandoned. If the ladder would hold me I would climb to the top. Would make sweet shots.

Luckily there were 4 of us last night. We had 4-5 homeless guys come by us

The sewage treatment plant that was off 70 downtown was awesome.. but they tore it down, and THAT place was scary..

^^ :lolguy: Yeah, I need to hire Rocky and a few others here to be my bodyguard on shoots in rough areas.

The times I have gone out with a few friends we all had our CCW's with us but thankfully never had any scarey situations. One shoots while the other two are on the look out in hopes to not have to.

Kenny rd just south of Woody Hayes Dr, look east. There is a large wall setback a few hundred yards from the road covered in graffiti. There is a parking lot that is right beside this wall.

Theres a good place right down from huntington park if i can ever get an invite haha.

I don't have your number.. Maybe this weekend.

Also, Grant ave just south of 11th has a ton of graffiti along the railroad. Might be an okay location for some daytime photos.

I would not be happy if my wife was downtown by herself. Lol.

The first time I did night photos downtown I was by myself at 12:30 am. Lots of trash pickers and crazy people.

Like 8-10yrs ago there used to be some awesome stuff on the walls if you get off the goodale exit off 670 and turn left. Its was down by the railroad tracks. A few years ago the city painted over all of it, but I am not sure if any more pieces have gone up since then or not.

Another great and hard to get to place was this old water tower in bexley. You can see it off 670 as you come around the bend. If I recall correctly, me and my friends had to park at this little park off 5th, walk through the woods, up a big hill, etc and get into it.

Some nasty work in there. Some of it was fresh too. Paint still tacky.

Again, this was like 9 or so years ago so I don't even know if that structure is still up.

The tracks to the right of me separate me from the spaghetti warehouse. In the last shot the car is pointed in the leaving direction to head down the hill.
