Are you doing stand alone/PnP?

Build is going to be BA! Hows the turbo fitment? Seems like a huge PITA.

I'm getting a Hydra stand alone from Element Tuning. Turbo shouldn't be bad. The engine bay is getting cleaned up so it should free up some room.

interesting looking motor, i have never seen one out of the car either. i noticed you said you were putting a stroker crank in, how much displacement are you going for? also i noticed the case of the motor looks like it could be split in two, is that how the crank goes in, or are my eyes decieving me?

I've never seen an engine from one of these cars before. I didn't know they were a flat opposed four. Looks complicated and cool. Good luck with the rest of your project. I'm sure it will be even more of a blast to drive.

it's going to be a 2.6-2.7 liter, as opposed to 2.5.

the block case splits in half. the are several bolts that connect the halves. you have to attach the rods to the crank and then lay the crank inside, then connect the case halves.

in case you were wondering. there are very few failures that can be traced back to a failure of the stock case bolts, but the is an arp upgrade.
