FWIW, all the MN12 cars (1991-1997ish tbirds and cougars) use the exact same center section but it is steel instead of aluminum. They should be very easy to find in a yard.

only super coupes have the 8.8 though I believe most of them are 7.5 if I remember correctly

The Supercoupes, and any of them with a V8 had a 8.8.
