Niagra Falls Canadian side suggestions?

was just there two weeks ago, really nice on the canadian side, the buildings around the falls are really cool and old. They're actually running a show right now about how the falls were made and how theyve been utilized etc over the years. Looked really cool, but I didnt have a lot of time other than to sightsee. The town-ish area is very carnival like, lots of cool museums and attractions to see. I wish I would have had a long weekend to do some things.

Was there last month and did a guided tour for $75 per person. Rode the maid of the mist, went to Goat island and walked the wooden deck, went down to see the whirl pool and drove around to see some other points. At night, I went to the casino.

Neat place. Worth it to take a tour. I was on the US side though.

I've gone on Maid of the Mist about a dozen times...but never in November. Brrrrr....

There was a transportation museum near the Falls on the Canadian side, just north of the Whirlpool...I can't recall the name of it though. Mostly it was stuff related to ship traffic on the Great Lakes, but they had a NICE collection of 50's and 60's European cars.

It sure is. Staying on the Canadian side at the Oakes hotel fallview room.

Get drunk and get a hooker...... Oh wait you said into history Sooooo old hooker

Definitely getting drunk, it's a given. Hooker though naaaaw, that is what the hot GF is for lol.

I saw a lot of water falls and hiking trails in, damn I can't remember the towns name, about 30 minutes from Niagara so I plan on hitting them.

Taking Friday and Monday for a nice long weekend. Taking the Camaro so a perma grin will be on my face.

We did a 4 night trip and did half at Niagara and half at Niagara on the lake. We rented a tandem bike and went to 10 or so different wineries. Went drove to a few of our favorites the next day and bought a case of wine. That's where I first learned about the Kir (cocktail), but the guy made it with straight cassis wine (not liqueur) and champagne. They taste absolutely amazing. That was the most fun part of the trip. I highly recommend to go up there if you have time.

Fear factory, wax museums, ripleys believe it or not, sex museum, and lots of others real close to the falls. Try a search on google maps. If you are into wine there is a few nice vineyards in niagara-on-the-lake if you are okay with driving a bit. They do tours as well. I would call in advance they only do it during certain times. If you want to buy beer for drinking in hotel or wherever you are very limited. Write this place down it is the best place i've found. The Beer Store 3739 Portage Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2J 2K8, Canada. I can't remember if they take credit card so I suggest paying in cash. They have some interesting tall boys last time I went. Good if you don't want to buy 12 or 24 packs. They also don't sell at night or weekends. Canada has weird alcohol laws. Go as early as possible.
