imstock2
Wife was going around a corner and she just slid into a tree about 20-30 mph...windshield is cracked, door is bent to the frame, head lights cracked, front passanger side appears to be sagging, the side step is broken, ripped off, the front bumper is damaged. This is what I can see off the bat. http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac326/riapooh18/F79C4C44-02E1-4658-9418-46BB21E75A49-144-00000020CADC4228_zpsab9537ab.jpg http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac326/riapooh18/5FA53F23-8FCF-4525-957E-BDEDDA5555DF-144-00000020C46AA25C_zpsf5ffb2e9.jpg http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac326/riapooh18/B221BE7F-7015-443A-B954-1E174463014B-144-00000020E58B577D_zps76884a25.jpg http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac326/riapooh18/B221BE7F-7015-443A-B954-1E174463014B-144-00000020E58B577D_zps76884a25.jpg http://i912.photobucket.com/albums/ac326/riapooh18/62EDBA81-6A28-43D9-88C5-79A827A00645-144-00000020D7FE3BDB_zpsd666a487.jpg

DTM Brian
Looks totaled to me given the age of the truck.
JuicedH22
Looks totaled to me given the age of the truck. I was thinking same thing, for sure if the frame is bent, which is likely based on impact location.
DTM Brian
I was thinking same thing, for sure if the frame is bent, which is likely based on impact location. I would have to agree that the frame is bent. Did you have full coverage on it? Do you have a lein on the truck?

PRD2BDF
Does she have the mentality that if she's sitting high and in a 4WD truck, she's unstoppable? Totaled.
Rustlestiltskin
Glad your wife is ok. Im sure the truck is a total loss considering its age and what those trucks go for nowadays.

DTM Brian
I have full coverage Insurance company will probably want a police report. You might want to get one tonight if you want to turn it into insurance. Did she do any damage to personal property?

Trouble Maker
How did the grill area get so messed up if the truck was hit from the side like that?
Flyin Miata
Insurance company will probably want a police report. You might want to get one tonight if you want to turn it into insurance. Did she do any damage to personal property? Although it's almost always recommended to get a police report, most insurance companies won't care when there is only one vehicle involved. It's pretty obvious what happened by looking at the vehicle. Maybe other companies are different that mine though. And to answer OP's question, almost no way they won't total that truck. Glad to hear everyone is ok and that you've got coverage.
imstock2
She took an fence out.. The tree was up on a bank that she sled into. Police report was made. She wrecked 10 mins before the salt truck made it down that road. It's an 02 f150 xlt crew cab
