NC cop trolling SC

After the crash, Walton says the deputy, driving car No. 145 that was marked as a K-9 unit, did not pull over, so Walton called 911. Walton says North Charleston Police responded and cited the deputy for being at fault. The officer was not ticketed.

How is this not a hit and run? :dumb:

People who won't pass cops even if they are under the limit piss me off.

^^This

I set the cruise at 71mph after passing them on the highway and have never had an issue. Did it last week coming into Columbus on 70. NO ONE would pass the cop. He wasn't running radar either. It took me 15 minutes to wade through the crap cars to get in position to pass. Then I just slow rolled out on him, with a head nod as I passed. He didn't care. He was doing 65mph, that's all he was goig to do. Worst part, NO ONE passed after I did. He stayed in the right lane. Left and center lane cars rolled 1 car length behind him, blocking the whole damn highway.

^ I did the same thing heading North on 23 just before Waldo. The cop was doing about the speed limit and kept speeding up/slowing down. I set the cruise for 5 over and as soon as I crept past him he flipped on his lights and pulled me over.

Fucking assholes...

Probably could have fought that. Not all speedometers read 100%.

Read about this earlier, sounds like the cop got ticked off easy and went way too far; he already resigned, too.

yup

This is the statement from the cop in this incident from his very own facebook

"On Monday the 18th of March; I competed a 40 hour K9 Handlers training course in Edisto Island, South Carolina, while driving home I allowed another person to manage my emotions and I made a very bad decision. While traveling on highway 526 in Charleston South Carolina; I was being tailgated by another driver in a much bigger hurry then I was, and I reacted to his impatience by creating a situation that could have had very serious consequences. I have embarrassed; myself, my family and my fellow law enforcement officers. I apologize to any law enforcement officer’s that feel any repercussions for my actions. As a result of my actions I am no longer a deputy with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office; this I am very hurt by, I loved my job, the people I worked with and the citizens I worked for; and it drives home the mistake I made. Let me be clear I made a mistake, I own it, it’s mine and I will not try to hide it or cover it up."

Why the fuck did that guy get back into the fast lane? He's no better a driver than the cop.

he was going fast...if you look at the middle lane, there was traffic of him after he had passed that Volvo on the right so he got into the passing/fast lane to pass

Even more :lolguy: at calling a cop an asshole for pulling him over when he was definitely speeding

Meh....5mph being called speeding is a bit excessive. Cop either has a bone to pick or bored. at 55mph or greater it's just a revenue thing until he crosses teh +10mph mark.

I drive to MI a lot and avoid 23 all together. Much easier heading up 33 past Marysville and taking the back roads where sheriffs are the main units on the hunt and are farther and fewer between.
