Niki Lauda and James Hunt are real people and household names when it comes the the history of Formula 1, and Ron Howard did extensive research on this movie before making it. Ron Howard is a HUGE F1 fan, and you can usually see him in attendance at many of the races throughout the season. The movie 'Driven' is probably one of the WORST racing movies I have ever seen, you are comparing apples to oranges here.....better yet, apples to aluminum siding..... I think most of you will be pleasantly surprised, and if you knew the history between these two drivers it would be that much cooler. It's very similar to a Senna vs Prost type of deal.
