2highpsi
He just went 8.90s in the 1/4 a couple weeks ago. What people are doing in the GTRs (and still retaining streetability) is just nutty.
BrendanB
Unbelievable, quite a feat. GTR's are definitely the next 2JZ Supra of the import world
Got-Boost?
I heard Omego finished up with a 214mph run! :fuckyeah: Pretty quick but still a bit to go to catch UGR...
Mr. Jones
GT-R Is the working man's Supercar.
accel_is_my_drug
you are high on crack if $110,000 car is a "working man's " supercar...
Mr. Jones
you are high on crack if $110,000 car is a "working man's " supercar... Guess I'm "on crack then" The fact that it best most $3xx,xxx "supercars" right out of the box, says I'm not on so much crack though. Maybe it's the used ones you can pick up for only 50-60K? Even older Gallardo's are still 90-100k for a fraction of GTR performance.
Yasser-Hanbali
I love the GT-R more everytime I see time slips like this

Linn1647545492
No much left at the top of 6th gear. I didn't realize the gearing is so short.
Mr. Jones
No much left at the top of 6th gear. I didn't realize the gearing is so short. I think ~200mph is pretty good gearing. Unless you are talking roll racing the UGR Boys up top.
Linn1647545492
I think ~200mph is pretty good gearing. Unless you are talking roll racing the UGR Boys up top. Full mile run. It might be out of gear but, adding a taller tire could change that.
Mr. Jones
Full mile run. It might be out of gear but, adding a taller tire could change that. Yeah, for a full mile, it would be over far too quick.
2highpsi
AMS hitting 233 in the mile. (with stock final drive) Old news, but with all the talk of "topping out" I thought it relevant. http://vimeo.com/39728445
kirks5oh
The car could have used a seven speed. You're pretty close to 3k rpms in sixth gear at 80mph. I don't even think my lsx cars are at 2k rpms at that speed, certainly not the vette. Not a huge deal
Got-Boost?
AMS hitting 233 in the mile. (with stock final drive) Old news, but with all the talk of "topping out" I thought it relevant. This is why you don't have NEARLY the fast vehicles out at the new Texas Mile location (Beeville). We've tried to tell them over and over.....things have improved since that run (and four or five crashes) but it still isn't great. The new track in Houston at Ellington Field is PERFECT compared to Beeville and will probably put the Texas Mile out of business if they don't do something... Heck, there were more UGR Gallardo-TT's at the last Ellington meet than Hayabusa's...
