SOLD :(

I hate doing this.

I swore I would die with this car, but things are changing. I don't drive it much, and I could use the money to put towards my next Great Folly. So I'm seeing if there's interest in my STI. I'll be sad to see it go, but it's also sad to just see it parked in the garage.

The Vitals:

2007 Obsidian Black Pearl STI

27,500 miles

No longer has the vertical strakes in the wing or front lip. CB antenna is removable and the mount stowable under the bumper. Sale includes black powdercoated original wheels without tires.

Currently has a WC Lathewerks 2" spherical shift knob. Stock knob is available, but needs repainting. (lent it to a friend and drove the sh*t out of it. :D ) I prefer the WC knob anyways.

The Good:

27,500 miles.

Saw only two months of winter roads and was garaged ever since.

Paint is in excellent condition as is the interior.

The engine only has a Cobb Stage 1 tune from 600mi; never flogged on the stock tune. No other power mods. The exhaust is just a cat-back.

Brand new Dunlop Direzza ZII tires. Less than 500mi on them.

The Bad:

The rear suspension is a little noisy due to the Group-N tophats.

The AccessPORT needs to be sent to COBB to get the dongle replaced.

Mods:

Exterior:

Painted headlights and taillights. Thread Here.

Semi-debadged

Open foglight intake

Tinted windows (high-grade metal based tint, 50% front sides, 35% rear sides and rear window)

WC Lathewerks shift knob

MadDad Ultra boost gauge

Boost-sensitive IC sprayer with JDM on/off switch

Schroth Rallye 4 harnesses with Blue/Yellow shoulder pads (disconnectable to make rear seats usable)

Engine:

Cobb Stage 1 tune w/ AccessPORT

I will vouch for the fact that this is the nicest STi I've probably ever come across. I've detailed this car twice I and it's always in great shape even before we work on it.

Well built, well cared for, excellent example.

Sad to see her go, I still regret selling my M3 in the same position as you last year however I also still look back and know it was the right thing to do.

Will you still be attending the track day on Monday? And this is your first ever track day right?

If that’s the case I doubt you will still ‘want’ to sell it after that.

probably in his BR-Z

Yup.

Agh, cause this thing would be a monster on the track! Not that the BRZ will be a slouch but, yeah.

The BRZ brings me more joy to drive to be honest. The STI is supremely competent. But after driving the BRZ I've come to realize how uncommunicative the STI is.

Besides, depending on what I decide for the next project I may just end up with a pretty badass track rat..

I think I saw you gettin-it on the off ramp of 270 and 23 a few weeks ago. Good looking car.

Possibly. My bank is near there.
