New PC I built.

So I have been running/gaming on a old amd PC for that last 3 years it played dayz well enough but it really was too old to upgrade so I bit the bullet and kinda all out.

 

Case: Corsair 600t Graphite Series.

PSU: Corsair TX850M modular power supply

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770 Haswell 3.4GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core

Motherboard: Asus Z78-Plus

Ram: CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866

SSD: Corsair Force Series GT 120GB SATA III

HDD: Western Digital WD Black 500GB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

Cooling: CORSAIR Hydro Series H60

Video: Dual ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 running in SLi

Congrats on the new build. I just finished a very similar build spec-wise (ivy bridge instead of haswell though) and nothing comes close to bogging it down without unnecessary amounts of AA. Crysis 3, Metro Last Light, all silky smooth.

Also, you need another fan on your radiator.

 

another vote for this. I got an H80i came with 2 fans, my CPU usually runs at 6*C, running Sleeping Dogs on Ultra at 60FPS it's at 21*C.

 

Doesn't hurt that DJ advised me and installed the whole setup basically :dumb:

Good luck with that Corsair SSD. I had nothing but problems with it. I eventually swapped it for an OCZ at microcenter for a temp fix until I bought a bigger one.

OCZ will do the exact same to you. OCZ is actually the SSD with the highest return rate at MC
