So, pretty sure I am going to get a set of Forgelines, probably going 18/19 (though i kinda like hte idea of 19/20, I just think traction would just be too much of an issue). The car is probably going to soon be a satin pearl white finish as well...

I am kinda stuck with either the GA3R's:

in this finish:

or gold with a polished lip (ignore unilug and exposed bolts)

I also like hte concave look with the SC3C... probably the same combo of gold with polished lip...

Truth is, I like a lot of the Forgeline offerings, these are just the ones I think I like the most...

Leaning toward the GA3R myself right now, in the black finish... pretty sure it will be lighter of the two, which is a plus...

Please move away from all-black wheels; the color scheme is so passé. It was hot when I had my C5Z06 ten years or so ago.

Each of the Forgeline's offerings is good.

+1

So tired of the all-black wheels. I think the gold/silver would be a refreshing change.

Look in my signature... I currently have CCW classics.

the reason for Forgeline is because I am getting a good deal for a new set.

The ricer in me kind of wants a wheel with a nice deep lip that would look cool. But the racer in me, just wants what is light, lol.

I just think this 'looks' incredibly cool: (minus the fact he needs fenders - which 'yes' i have)

That's kind of my stance as well. But I do think it looks good against white cars... but I know the black/white look will be over soon...

Why do I like the all black though? Its MUCH easier to maintain. they look 'clean' for longer, and require less maintenance. My original plan on my CCW's was to keep hte polished lip, but after the first polish to get them all shiny again, I realized there was no way in the world i wanted to do that every other week to keep them from fading/oxidizing in appearance. A quick wash with a painted surface and boom, they are clean. and I did like hte all black look of my vette for awhile, it was fun to have.

Black wheels are still coated by black coating and like black cars, they look dirty very quickly. Two red lights and they have this visible thin coating of dust. Dark gray is a different story but the tried-and-true silver is always the best in looking clean.

Although, if you were not against cleaning the wheels often, key-color the wheels. There are very few colors that can pull such a scenario and white, especially white pearl, is one of them. Keep in mind that maintenance will become a part-time job and a half.

NB: Please stop by and tell Danny Popp to hurry up with my car, I need it this weekend. Bring a whip if you have to ...

Ew.

I think the CCWs you currently have a solid. They look good, and are practical in terms of racing. I would dump money into new wheels, unless you have like loads of money you're trying to get rid of lol.

I'm a huge fan of the CCW's you currently have but forgelines are a dream set for me. I have always liked them and their styles and how good of a rim they are.

The rims posted on the C5 look horrible IMO. I do like the first set and the set on the ZR1 that you posted.

There is a set of HREs 547 ??? on corvetteforum that I think are the same as an iforged flux that a lot of guys have on there that look very nice but I like the wheels you currently have. Of the wheels you posted I like the GA3R the best!

Am I hearing that you guys like my CCW classics more than either of those? lol.

So I went up there today, and saw the black/black finish, and it does look good, but not 'wow that looks great'. however, I did see a set of centers in a satin gold finish, and LOVED the way it looked. So now i am 96% sure I am getting the GA3R's in that finish... However, saw a few others I liked as well...

though this would cost me quite a bit more money, so not sure those will happen...

And the SP3P

Would never waste my money on Forgelines... all of your choices look gaudy at best, and their hefty price tag just comes with the name. And for the love of god, stay away from double staggered wheels.

My votes? Keep your CCWs.
