Stretch
I have a 360 now but will be getting the PS4 in november.
bicranium
Also be sure that you have 8GB of free space on whichever console you buy it for. I thought the 8GB install was only for 360 because of it being on 2 discs vs. 1 for PS3 but apparently it's for both platforms.
sol740
Bought for PS3 just because.
-Alex-
I rarely play games anymore, but when I do it's the 360 90% of the time. I think I'll get GTA for PS3 though due to me having way more storage on it, and GT6 will be released for PS3 as well. I don't have any intentions of buying either new console, so it seems like I'll be able to squeeze some more "new" life out of the PS3. I suppose there's a little nostalgia there too as far as the combo of GTA and PS goes.

Zx2guy19
My biggest concern is that if I get it for xbox 1 (not sure if it's even for that) I have to wait until November when the console is released. I don't want to buy it for 360 and then 2 months later all I play is my 1.
spankis
GTA V is currently only available for xbox 360, and xbox 360 games will not work in your xbox 1 (not backwards compatible). HOWEVER, you can plug your xbox 360 INTO your xbox 1 through its hdmi input . Right now there has been no announcement of a planned release for xbox 1. zeitgeist57
Not gonna buy it, would be surprised if I'm given (and take) the oppty to play it. That said, as someone who played the original GTA religiously in college, I'm very impressed with not only the apparent gameplay but the cinematic marketing and back-stories of the characters involved. Seriously impressive evolution in videogaming...
