Lauren
With baby number two on the way in August I'm looking for a daily wagon. Ideally I'd like a S6 with a manual but they didn't bring them here and I heard the trip tranny is a bit sketchy? I'm also considering the passat as it comes in a manual and the all road. I really like the A6 based wagons due to the third row is they are big enough to throw both my dogs in the back area with two car seats. Anyone else share a passion for wagons and have any recommendations or ones I'm forgetting. I'm looking at a sub 12k budget for this thing ideally so not lookin for a brand new. Also post pictures of your favorite ones as well
PRD2BDF
Saab Saab Saab Saab Saab Edit. The 9-3 can be had with a stick. The motors and transmissions in them are solid. The 9-5 can be had with a stick but a bit harder to find. The motor in them are solid but does require some upkeep (sludging due to owners not running correct oil or running oil too long, PCV issues but has been resolved with the latest update #6, this update can be installed on all years of the 9-5). I suggest a 9-3 personally (on my second one now)

-Alex-
Idk why I thought AWD was a requirement. What about any 5 series wagon?
Lauren
I dig the 5 series wagons but only the e39 is in my budget and I'd like to steer clear of that. A e6x 535ix wagon with a 6 speed would be an AweSOME daily
mrs.cos
Idk why I thought AWD was a requirement. What about any 5 series wagon? if your gonna go part of the way, might as well go all the way with safety and get the AWD.

Tripleskate
- LGT Wagon (dunno if the wagons came in Spec.B form?) - WRX Wagon (less pretty version of the LGT) - Volvo V70R (find it in a stick, and hang onto it forever) - Jetta Sportwagen (Is TDI + stick available in this country?) If you're flexible in terms of what you'd call a wagon, both the Mazda3 hatch, and Mazda5 MPV come in stick, and will be mechanically sound for as long as you live.
