I'm selling the Toy Carrier motorcycle trailer I purchased new in June 2006. This has a galvanized steel frame with a polymer shell, is aerodynamic, and weighs only 760 lbs. With a GVWR of 2193 lbs, it will carry 1400 lbs of bike and gear and will accommodate a full-dress Harley or Goldwing. It can be pulled by a car easily and doesn't require trailer brakes.

Ground clearance is 11", it has aluminum rims with 13" radial tires (ST175/80R13), stainless steel center caps, and a 2200 lb dextor ez-lube axle.

It uses an EZ-Open scissor lift system

has aluminum checker plate floor with a 5' steel loading ramp and left and right foot ramps made of heavy plastic. All the ramps lock in place for loading and also fasten tightly to the inside walls during transport.

Overall length is 178", width is 68.5", height is 81". It has sealed LED lights, a swivel wheel jack, 2" hitch ball required. It has a Bike Pro drive-in quick release mount--you just drive the bike into the trailer, the front wheel locks in the chock, and you step off the bike which is then held in place.

There are also six floor rings for tie-downs for added security. I will include quality tie-down straps, canyon dancer bar harness, and recessed lug socket and wrench. There are two side latches which lock with a key.

There are two front and one rear adjustable floor vents and well as two ceiling vents to keep the compartment cool on long summer hauls.

I chose this trailer because I wanted something enclosed but super light and which I could move unassisted, and load and unload the bike solo as well. It's fantastic for that, and I can open the shell and move the loaded trailer with one hand. It's waterproof and lockable.

This was used only four times in eight years and has approximately 5000 miles on it. It's been in indoor storage the rest of the time. The bearings were recently repacked and it's ready to go cross country without worry.

The only bad is that since I used it in the winter to take the Ducati to South Carolina, the metal accessories/chains on the tongue got coated with road salt and have some surface rust or pitting. All of these are readily available at farm supply stores if it bothers you enough to replace them. (see closeups in photo bucket)

Original purchase price with upgrades = $3500

Current retail with upgrades = $4200

CR price = $2200

Next week it will go to eBay with a reserve of $2500.

I finally got around to putting this on eBay. The reserve price is $2500, but I will still sell it on CR for $2200. Feel free to view it, and even bid if you're a registered user (views and bids help bring it up on more searches), but don't go over $2500.
