Merchant Sales Specialist - Ohio

Recommended Posts

I've been with Bank of America for the past 5 months and love it. Our Merchant Sales rep just resigned, and we're looking for someone that's going to kill it around Ohio and into SE Michigan. Great sales opportunity for anyone with some commercial banking or credit card processing knowledge.

Job listing says "Detroit" but the person can be in Ohio...sales manager for the slot just confirmed for me. (Predecessor was based out of Akron).

Guys, I had a BAMS teammate out of Michigan help our territory...we are definitely hiring someone for the State of Ohio ASAP.

This is an "outside sales" position where you are based out of your home, but would travel to Bank of America offices/Merrill Lynch offices to meet with brokers, bank partners, and clients to build business. We will definitely feed you referrals and I would help prospect for new business together with you. (full disclosure - you get paid off of fee revenue you book for BAMS, and what you claim goes as a credit towards my fee goals for the year as well. We work together as a team; you sell stuff and get paid, I get a "ghost benefit" to my sales goals as well.)

It's a great business-sales gig - we just need someone in Ohio willing to grind out - you get paid mileage! - to meetings and sell some f**king merchant processing. :)

^^^Sample job description.

Please let me know if you're interested. The guy that covers companies in the $500million+ space has been here for 5 years, lives in Dublin, is a solid dude that will help show you the ropes, and has a book of Bank of America company clients that do credit card processing with BAMS and he does juuuuuust fine, brother...
