Any good sources for used ones? (like H.A.M.B...) http://www.ezcarlift.com http://www.quickjack.com Would be nice to be able to swap out wheels/tires for rotation, or be able to get underneath for exhaust/engine/tranny work. They are a completely different style than you posted (a 2 post style), but they do roll away for storage. I intend to get a set in the near future when the time is right. I have set thousands of them and have spoken with reps who readily tell you their not meant for repeated in and out of bolts. Plus I can show the aftermath of one of these failing and dropping 1200lbs on my foot. On the other side i have seen one bolt lift a 10k lb piece of concrete with no issues. You do realize you will need to do roughly 65 tire rotations before you see somewhat of a return on investment, right? Later I thought about trying to find a pallet jack on Craigslist for doing simple stuff but the storage space it would require was too much for me. They would come in handy for brakes/suspension/tire rotations/winter wheel swaps and minor under car repairs though. I've got enough jackstands to still make things happen...I look at this as a slightly easier way to get underneath specifically for exhaust upgrades I'm planning for the BMW and the CTS-V. Even on drive-up poly ramps, I hardly have enough room under the low cars I have to maneuver my hands/arms, let alone air tools. Thank you for the offer, Scott! I'll talk to you later about that.
