On3Performance
I see a number of engine harnesses out there to use, what are guys using that works the best? We are doing a 69 Camaro, twin turbo and wanting a clean look. First time I have done a swap and Ive talked my dad into this after a lifetime of trying to do something not stock. He does all frame off, numbers matching, restorations so this is completely outside the box for him. Im handling the drivetrain side of this and the turbo build, anyone have insight on what direction to go to cover us on the electronics? Geeesammy
If you want really clean the only solution in my eyes is making it yourself.
On3Performance
I dont do well with wiring so I was hoping to find something fairly simple. If it comes to me having to cut through a harness and make it all custom, Ill be bringing someone in for that job
Brandon
Painless makes a kit, it is expensive though. PSI harness (eBay) Caspers electronics Speartech The painless harness is the most expensive, but pretty slick. Speartech are nice, and can be custom ordered. PSI are basic and effective for the price.

Ramsey
I'm doing a wiring specialty harness. I think we can add to the group order of race harnesses
vonrottes
Call up Jared at Current Performance Wiring (CPW) I've never dealt with them but everyone seems to swear by them... each harness is made for you, so it is pretty expensive... but it's more or less plug & play. TurboNova
Techrods used one on my car when it was stock pcm. All new and you can specify stuff you want.. Price was great too
On3Performance
Dan / Ramsey: What kind of prices from each of those places on average? Ill have to look a little more into each of these listed. I know my dad just wants a clean look and doesn't want a rats nest of wiring, it will drive him crazy. I want to make it as clean as possible, we are on a budget but fine with paying a little more if one is nicer than the other. Looking at running a 4l80 with it and computer controlled so he can just floor it and go. Mainly going to be a street driven car
STEVE-O
Psi will add the plug for a 4l80 to the harness for like $25 iirc and would take you 20 minutes to install. It's all plug and play and also has its own fuses linked in that you can mount anywhere you want: that is the harness I will be running http://psiconversion.com
TurboNova
mine was low 3's was all new wire and connectors nicely taped and loomed.. I know its a few bucks more for 4l80 connections but was very happy with harness. Only had to wire a 12v and ground and plug it in
Ramsey
For just the race harness it was 500, trans would be extra. The harnesses are getting made now and should be done 3-4 weeks. http://www.wiringspecialties.com/unlswihapros.html
GSXRAntwon
Go Wiring Specialties (cheaper) or the Rywire (expensive) and DO NOT get one with cheap loom on it.
