Sledhead36
I would never buy front load ever again. We had 2 sets, continuous mold issues. Google it,they claim to have solved it, but i don't think they have.

944s2
Literally just bought these and LOVE them, if it helps. I felt they were a very fair price since we bought them 2 months ago, three days after they came out. Fantastic Price right now too! http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-activewash-5-2-cu-ft-15-cycle-steam-top-loading-washer-white/2884575.p?id=1219563658417&skuId=2884575 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-7-4-cu-ft-15-cycle-steam-smart-electric-dryer-white/2884584.p?id=1219563657107&skuId=2884584

HotCarl
Contact 2 sweet, he got us a really good deal on a front load and have had no issues with it. Proper maintenance keeps them smelling good. What proper maintenance are you reffering to? I usually just keep the washing machine door open when not in use but was unaware there was actual maintenance other than that? wo dont have any smell/mold issues with our LG front loads though? Sorry to high jack your thread.

Sorry to high jack your thread. On top of leaving the door and detergent tray open when not in use, you should also clean the drain filter, and remove clothes when they are done, not 15-30 minutes after. Monthly you should wash with white vinegar .. Instructions : For a^monthly cleaning session, pour some distilled white vinegar instead of laundry detergent into the dispenser, and add one cup of baking soda directly into the drum as well (this will neutralize the pH, but provide a scrubbing action). Run the machine on the hottest cycle, plus an extra rinse. For extreme cases of mildew-y smells, replace vinegar with bleach and run a few quick cycles with hot water. If there's a self-cleaning cycle, follow your manual's instructions on how to use it.
