French cleat stuff is awesome, I just wish I had a way to make it easily on my own.

A $50 craigslist table saw would get you pretty far. I could make you the "wall" but it wouldn't get you very far if you don't have a way to make the various holders.

Made a little progress on mine..

What you guys think this could sell for? I'm debating making it but I don't have a place for one. It looks like a fun project but I don't want it to just sit in basement. Thanks for any input

What's that one listed for haha? Put I'd think 500 all day and id list it at like 800 and see how it goes. You could always let a consignment shop deal with selling and pricing and you just build.

Also 700 for a minimalist end table is wild, that golden wood gets you everytime.

Kinda what I was thinking.

Yeah $700 is nuts. The best part is that it was put together with fucking pocket screws. That's like having Underground Racing build you a stage 3 and using those janky worm clamps on the intercooler piping.

A lot of your guys stuff looks really nice.

Can anyone in here recommend me a cordless drill to get into making tables and things of that sort?

I'm not quite sure what's necessary or what won't hold up to the job(s). A buddy at work told me to look into an 18 or 20v cordless brushless drill. Can anyone help me narrow it down to a few models/ brands that I can research?

My first task will be building my reloading bench.

I also inherited my grandpas old wood working tools I know I've got a variety of carvers and other things in the garage i need to go through.

I run a Makita 18v brushless (hammer) drill and mini impact that are simply badass. I like Makita stuff but this set really impressed me. Batteries last FOREVER.

This set?

I was looking at the dewalt 20v brushless but some of the reviews make me question the quality compared to something else in the same price range.

Look at the lithium ion dewalt and Milwaukee sets. You can buy the bare tools at Andersons cheaper than anywhere. Plus you can use their monthly 20% coupon. Once you have the set with batteries you can just add on as you need them. Reps come in twice a year and drop off a boat load of bare tools for those two brands.

The wife was asking for something simple for the garage for the kids to keep their shoes under and sit on to get ready...made it from scraps...haven't put a finish on it yet...had to be sturdy because they are brutes and knowing us...it will be pressed into service in other ways....

I bought the DeWalt set.... honestly, I expected much more out of it... My Black and Decker Matrix replaceable head set works much better and is used much more than the Dewalt... it just seems to strip heads and the batteries don't last that long.

Thanks, I ordered the makita set above but with 3.0ah batteries. Bought it refurbished instead of new making it the same price as the dewalt.
