atomicfusion1647545515
So I get this question all the time... "What can I do drag wheel wise on my C7" Well, we have options... 1st off I can fit an 18x9.5 on the back of the C7Z (not Z07 brakes) without any modifications... But I know, I know no one wants to run a 9.5 rear wheel.. So, Option 1 17" conversion What's required? Drag Spindles and a brake kit. You can use the LG Drag spindles and my brake kit to make the 17x10 fit on the back (base car or Z) This kit will allow you to keep the factory parking brake and revert back to your stock wheels when you aren't drag racing (if you want to) Installation isn't too difficult and could be done in your garage. http://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.corvetteforum.com-vbulletin/1920x2000/80-c7_17inch_kit_cf8e2b69c5adc1d86dc324834194ca5a32af7b0a.jpg Option 2 (also a later upgrade from option 1) 15" conversion kit What's required? Everything in Option 1 PLUS custom fabricated Lower control arms. We have worked with LG Motorsports to make these kits as complete as possible and have multiple cars running around with them installed already. You will spend more money on this kit, but you will be able to run a 15x10 rear wheel with our without outer bead locks, and you can still revert back to your factory wheels when you aren't racing. What wheels can I run? Well in 17" you can run any of the Weld RT wheels without a spacer or Billet Specialties with a spacer. http://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.corvetteforum.com-vbulletin/921x919/80-car_wheels_with_logo_4075d508de7978c64d92ceb31a66d9bbee1a9448.jpg If you go with Option 2 and do the 15" conversion you really can run whatever you want! http://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.corvetteforum.com-vbulletin/706x655/80-s71_with_new_beadlock_whiteback_f388fe2288d3bf8786ffa67f3ca7c0b70fa7b998.jpg S71 http://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.corvetteforum.com-vbulletin/720x660/80-vitesse_beadlocked_5d54ff8f3593e8d84d95e2c46b9964b8dca7d53e.jpg Vitesse http://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.corvetteforum.com-vbulletin/360x321/80-s77_bl_56dbd4404bf3c76754461ad19b96ed98cdd9552c.jpg S77 I do also have all the info figured out on the fronts as well, so if you want to make it a complete set, you can either get matching RTS fronts, or we have conversion kits ready to run any of the lightweight front runners as well... http://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.corvetteforum.com-vbulletin/1786x1150/80-all_fronts_25b85df05306350c86528bee016e5522ba74d9a1.jpg If you have questions or just know you ready to go fast, give us a call! 888-307-9186 sales@carlyleracing.com
