Buying used shop tools in a thrifty way?

I/we recently leased a shop to run the day-to-day shipments and storage for TacPack. We have about 1000 unused Sqft of space and we want to get some shop tools to tinker with.

 

Where is a good place to find used tools aside from craigslist? Pawn shop?

 

We are looking for:

Bench grinder

Band saw

Table saw

Mitre Saw

Angle grinder

Air Compressor

CL or bust. Unless you want to go new.

 

You gotta be quick on CL. When i picked up my table saw i called the dude no more than 20 minutes after it was posted, and by the time i went to pick it up an hour later he said he had several calls between then. The tools section of CL is loaded with people looking to flip shit, mostly pawn shops.

If you are will to go with used, many of those can be had new at Harbor Freight at a decent price. They warranty their tools now.

I've had a lot of luck with the flea market down at Caesars Creek, mostly with hand tools though.
