Finally moved into the area, a few automotive questions...

TINT: Anyone recommend a place to have tint done? I'm looking for the newer style Carbon tint or better at a decent price. Does anyone come to you for install or most have a location they use around?

CLEAR BRA: Who does it and who is trustworthy and will do a great job? I'll have a new vehicle needing it done once my TDI goes back on Dec 1st.

 

WHEELS: I always used Discount Tire down in TX, any particular location to have warranty work done with competent employees? I'll need some snow tires soon and will need a place I can trust.

 

What about wheel repair? At one time people used WheelMedic or something like that. Is that still the place to have a quality repair done? Seems my wife found the one bad curb at my daughters school so have a minor repair to have done.

 

Tim's got me covered on detailing....anything else I should know about? Anymore stickies for newbies....

I had Performance Auto Spa do the tint and clear bra on the V. I'm very happy with the result. Automotive Appearance Pros did good work when I had them do stuff for me. But that was a while ago. Due to some bad experiences, I can't recommend Quality Window Tint any more.

 

For new wheels/tires Best One is the current CR hook-up. Repairs/powdercoating/etc is still Wheel Medic, I believe.

Call Kevin at Dublin Performance Auto Spa. If Kevin doesn't answer ask for Jesse Price. 614-873-0800. They did my Audi and did a fantastic job.

Julius Poa. He will come to you. Given the weather if you have a garage he will do it in there. You can always use mine too. We'll want to correct at least the front end or where it's going to be applied. He's an awesome guy and has done all of my cars for over the past 20yrs. He's also done over a dozen plus of my friends and referrals. All custom cuts and great artisan. 937-830-2797. You can see his work on my car anytime.

Derek aka Turborust aka Best One. Just had them out today to swap out my summer/winter shoes and rotate the tires on the van. Can't beat $20 to have them come to you. Derek has worked with me on tires since joining CR. He's awesome too.
