I'm glad he enjoyed it. He'll have to compare his experience with DRACO-rex who took it out a little later. Draco-REX Posted April 30, 2017 Report Share Posted April 30, 2017 Had a lot of fun today. It's always a blast watching cars hammer at a dyno. It's even better when the dyno is inside. I may not have had a very powerful run, but they might have been the longest. When I bought the Lotus, it came with a dyno chart that said 213 rwhp. Turns out it wasn't a lie. 218 rwhp on the CR Benchmark Dyno! Pull #1 Pull #2 (With bonus blue flame!) Pull #3 (Best of the day at 218hp/145tq) AFRs looked good too. I'm very happy. I also got to take Doc's Slingshot for a spin. It's a fun little thing. I wasn't prepared for the amount of wind buffeting, making me wish I had taken up Doc's offer to wear his helmet. Also saw only 11 degrees of timing. After the first two pulls I leaned it out 5% and added 4-5 degrees of timing. It has a LOT more left in it. About to max the injectors so that's next before I stick a smaller pulley on it.
