Nothing exciting to report today. Just a slab run to get into WV. Sets us up well for tomorrow.

End to end clean run on the good part of 16 this morning. Dry, clean and great pavement.

As my friend Ice Cube would say: It was a good day.

Ran 352, 208 and 209 and only got stuck behind a car for about 2 blocks while in Hot Springs.

Dude pulled into the above lunch spot as we were leaving driving this truck. REAL old dude, he was cool as hell as is his truck.

Parked for the night at the casino in Cherokee.

Ran a modified Tonik's route today. Got hot a little bit later on but not bad. Parked in Franklin for the night. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good dinner?

The Cincinnati Local Riders group always did their annual NC/Waynesville trip the week after the Labor Day holiday.  Kids back in school and parents back in the office.  Traffic was always very light.  16, 208 and 209 are definitely worth a run!  Looks like a great trip.

So...inquiring minds want to know.  Do you stay at Casinos because you like to gamble?  Or are the rooms a better value--i.e., cheap--because they're subsidized by the gamblers?

None of the above. 

Don't like to gamble. 

The one we stayed at was 400 a night. 

I stay there because the wife likes to gamble. Sometimes she wins, sometimes she loses. But never large amounts. Hundred here or there a night. She is up 300 this trip.

It makes her happy, it's her trip too.

The sex is better too!
