Strictly Street
Keep in mind, that is early news reports. Unkown what a determined speed will be. The news likely got a speed from a passing witness who said, "He had to of been going 90 mph!" In reality he was going 50. Then again... Could have been faster or could have been slower. We don't know yet. Point is, dead is dead.I read it and every other article I could find. The only person who quoted 90mph was the car drivers girlfriend in the _comments_ section, not the paper itself.Hmm... sounds kinda odd that she of all people knows how fast the bike was going. Reading into the context of her comments by inference she wasn't there.Of course that could be her poor spelling/English skills or because she was upset at the time of posting. progrmr
A buddy of mine got the story - what I'm hearing is that the car cut the bike off, rider pulled up to the car and banged his fist on the hood of the car and took off. Driver chased the rider down and hit him with the car. Driver of the car is an illegal w/ no license, and I hear they are considering murder charges. Can't attest to all this personally, I wasn't there. But my buddy isn't the type to just make this kind of thing up.R.I.P. rider.
