Issue 2 was kinda damned if you do damned if you dont legislation. I dont want leftist groups trying to write legislation but Issue 2 was a left, liberal, Let's Create more government or the wacko's are coming kinda thing.

Fear Legislation.

All you had to do was vote on any legislation with common sense. Now you dont get the chance. A non-elected, politician appointed board that can be lobbied by big money will be dictating everything.

Goodbye small farms, Hello high prices at the store.........

In my opinion, I think Casino's need to stay in Vegas. It's a vacation. It's a place where people from all over the world come to see the sites and gamble.

I've been to some of the local style casinos. I've watched the locals that look like should be on PeopleofWalmart.com, set there are blow their entire paycheck, then get on the city bus and go home, broke. It's sad!

^ stupidity always is ...unless it's funny.

But seriously, i don't see how this is any different than any other vice. Some people drink too much, some people smoke, some people gamble, some people blow all their money on motorcycles.

None of those activities are 'smart,' but you'd be hard pressed to argue they should be illegal. we tried prohibition. I don't think it needs to be tried again.

I'm not really against the casinos' date=' but against the legislation. It's not very "free market" friendly and in order for a competitor to start another casino we'll have to amend the Constitution, again.[/quote']

+1, the government shouldn't be granting 'for profit' monopolies that are unnecessary for our infrastructure.

Now having it in the Constitution I also have a problem with, but that isn't new to this casino issue I don't think. I think the lotto, slots and other gambling related things are already in there. All of which I don't think belong in a constitution.

SRSLY believe the crap you just posted?:nono:

Without a hesitation. Unions were useful when companies could do things like lock workers in, force them to work in unsafe conditions etc etc....

Just because you've been working for 25 years doesn't mean you should be paid a set amount, that's why we ended up with janitors at GM making 6 figures.

Seriously, unions aren't needed anymore, all they do is create an environment where people can group bargain... you all claim free market... unless it means you may get paid less

Yeah, cuz locking workers in doesn't happen anymore right? Is that why Wal Mart(non union) is in a class action lawsuit becuase they did just that. My friend, you are sadly misinformed in what unions ACTUALLY do.

Show me the lawsuit? I got the settlement notice for Wal-Mart not paying for breaks and/or encouraging users to NOT take breaks, that's it.
