nochknstrps
Anyone ever heard of a sprint from Columbus to Zanesville? I over heard some people talking about it. 50 bucks a bike and the first one there gets the pot.

Cleaner
Sounds like it COULD be fun. But $50 a person will not compensate for a 1) Reckless Operations charge, 2) 6 points on the license, 3) possibly going to jail, 4) getting the bike towed..... And then there's the possibility of crashing while going 160 mph on I-70 that could leave a mark.

KhaoticRebel
Yeah that sounds like a pretty f'n dumb idea, but that's just my opinion.
NinjaNick
Sounds like jail time and dumb LP. I agree with you. I don't see the the point in turning it into a deadly public road challenge for some pot of gold at the end of the road. I know I have heard of some people racing for money on closed courses before, but I think that's just a fairy tale.

Putty
oooooo you rebel putty.LOL! There was also one where we flew up 70W to the Competition Accessories exit, go left to rt35, 35e to 71N, take 71N back to Columbus. All at 120>. I remember passing a Trooper sitting in the middle of 35.....About 10 of us passed him around 150 if not better. He never left where he was sitting....Well, if he did, I never saw him. We used to leave Cols about 1am to do this.
redkow97
you always hear rumors about cops not chasing bikes because it's too dangerous, but I've never had the guts to test that theory... Plus on a 500, i'm very much within the top speed range of a highway patrol car...

Cop could've been figuring that if you guys are booking at 150+ mph at 1 AM, then its doubtful you'd stop simply for some red and blue lights.BUT, it looks like Satan and Putty are in... Schedule that SHIT!!! I'll ride in my suv and bring a video camera so we can sell that shit on the net.

NinjaNick
I use to live in Jamestown which is a town with a deserted stretch of highway US35 which is about 10miles from 71 which you traveled and there is DEER galore out there at night. Fuck that. You always see a patch of the road stained RED from deer guts too. That stretch is daytime run only if you want to do those speeds out there. But to each their own, it's not my life I'm playing russian rollette with.
nochknstrps
Everyone is a critic. I was just asking if anyone has heard of the damn thing. If anyone does it its just another calculated risk.
Cleaner
Chill out dudes.a) the cops surf the net for kiddy porn and other important shit. they don't surf for possible speeding tickets.b) its not like the trek time and departure would be posted prior to launch.c) it would take no time to edit out the personal info prior to the you tube post.d) no one is even serious about doing this.relax peoples
