Tonik
Not my trip, I was just turned on to this thread over on ADVRider. He tavelogs his motorcycle trip across Angola. It is an amazing story.http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=269251EDIT: Maybe not work safe. There are topless pics of locals. National Geographic type pics, nothing 'pornographic'. Good point Likwid. Edited February 2, 2010 by Tonik

Likwid
I'd just say for anyone working at a super conservative place, or somewhere with a lot of folks over your shoulder. Some of the images DO contain nude/topless natives. Not that there's anything "pornographic" about that, it could be a little embarassing if someone was over your sholder.

Tonik
The part that blew my mind was when he was hanging with that biker club and found out he was on the opposite side of a war with them when South Africa and Angola/Nambia went at it. And that his unit probably killed some of their buddies. And it was all good.
TwiztedRabbit
that deff blew my mind... you could tell from the story tellers side it was a touchy subject for him.. but he was overwhelmed by the response from them being so inviting and helpful

scottb
I read the rides posted at ADV rider occasionally. That is a great report. I would be freaked out riding that coastline/dune area. There were some strange looking trees. Good to know that you can find beer anywhere.I would like to go there and pick up one of those bikes, note the spelling on the seat:
