Hi everyone, I figured I would introduce myself to let you all know the basics about me. I just moved to Miamisburg from Phoenix in October. This is my first time living anywhere other than Phoenix so yeah, it's a bit of a shock. But a good one:D I'm a bodyman/painter and used to have my own motorcycle only bodyshop out there. I merged it with another business and when the economy took a dump I got laid off and moved here to be with my fiance. I am a sport rider and have been racing for the last few years with Roadrace SW/ CCS out in Phoenix. My RC51 street bike was stolen awhile back so now my AMA Supersport CBR 600RR is my daily driver. At least when the roads aren't covered in snow and ice. I don't know where the good riding spots are out here yet so I'm sure I'll be tagging along on rides when the weather is better to learn where the good places are.

Welcome to the state and to the site. We lived in Gilbert for a bunch of years so I can relate. While I miss certain aspects of living in AZ the weather is not one of them. Ill take our crap winter in trade for our glorious spring, summer and fall any day. I remember dreading getting on my bike to ride to work during the PHX summer.....

Thanks everyone! I think I'm adjusting to the snow pretty well considering I'm a desert rat. I actually love the winter so far with the only exception being that I can't ride. I see that there are quite a few shooters here too. I need to find where the good places are to shoot. In Phoenix you just drive a little ways outside of the city and set up almost anywhere but I don't think we can do that here.

I'm sure I'll be taking you up on that offer e-flores. I'm already liking it here a lot. It's definitely different than Phoenix. But I lived there for 30 years so I was ready for a new adventure in life. I have a feeling the humidity this summer will be harder to handle than the snow though.

Welcome to the site.

You'll like it here once you get to ride some of southeastern Ohios roads.

Lots of fully canopied twisties keep things cool in the summer.

Plus we know all the good spots to eat. See you around.

first of all, welcome to the site.

you'll get used to wearing the air in the summer, and squirming out of your suit.. lol

it only gets unbearable for a few weeks at a time. it's not too bad.

if you still ride the street you'll have to hook up with us boys from down here around cincy...we know a lot of great twisties in the country side of kentucky. I'm talking about hours worth of riding and not on the same road.

btw...if you want to start up a painting shop give me a shout. I want to do something like that myself. I've painted my stuff a bunch of times and a couple customers stuff. but I'm still new at it so to speak.

I just want to pick your brain LOL.

you moved to a great central location to a bunch of tracks too. Mid ohio, putnam park, grattan, beaveRun, nelson ledges, gingerman,

and hopefully soon (was supposed to be completed in 2009) 20 min south of cincinnati, bluegrass.
