you can take the dixie highway all the way down, it is way more scenic then 75, and although it'll take you longer it's gonna be easier for you to maintain your gheyness level for jagr's amusement.... seriously US 23 or us 19 would be awesome and would put you down there in 2 days (stopping and resting along the way) and allow you to go thru some pretty cool areas...

The furthest I've ridden was to Wilmington, NC. A buddy and I made that trip in a day. I found it enjoyable on my fizz and would love to do it again. He, however, had a hell of a time on his vulcan and swore he would never do a ride that far again. I suppose it's in the rider and the bike.

I don't mean to dissuade you, but it's going to be tough to pack proper gear for that trip in April.

You might leave OH with snow flurries, and end up in pretty damn hot weather by the time you get to FL. It prevents some interesting packing challenges, getting un-dressed on the way down, and adding layers on the way back.

I did it once and rode mostly back roads to Atlanta where I stayed overnight. The next day, I just hauled on I-75.

Overall, I'd say it sucked and wouldn't do it again. Just wasn't that much fun and riding in Florida really sucks balls. Shitloads of cops there and we couldn't find a single curve...anywhere.

On the plus side, ya can't beat fresh fish right off the boat for dinner each night. It's Florida's only reason for existing.

Have some pics somewhere if you're interested.
