Commute! I'm married with three as well. Hence, I'm not allowed to ride for fun either. The key is.... sell your story to the wife that it is a safe, economical way to get to and from work. You will save hundreds of dollars in gas and get some enjoyment every day as well. I just hope she doesn't catch on that I seem to pull more weekend-duties when the sun is out. Don't tell! Keep the bike, enjoy it, and be safe!

i wish i could ride it to work and back. i have a company truck that i have to drive. i take it home every day. I also have a 99 ws6 trans am that is another summer toy. the first year i think i put 2k on the bike and the last few years i put around 500 a year.

yep every time i jump on the bike she gets mad because she gets to sit at home and deal with the boys.. and it didn't help when she was following me to a friends house and a group of fine girls were hollering.. you get the picture.

Yea I feel ya on that. I am in the market for a WS6 but haven't been able to get my car sold so probably settling on an SOM Camaro with about 430hp to suffice my fix for awhile, once I get bored with it hopefully a WS6 or Firehawk would be next

there is a nice one on craiglist in elyria you could probably grab it for 10k or less it has around 50k i think and go with the ws6 instead of the firehawk i think the looks do it

Somtimes its worth it... Ride more, hear less bitching, younger hotter replacement :dunno:

Screw that. I'll live under a bridge. All I need is this motorcycle, and this lamp, and this pen.... that's all I need.

whats up riders my name is frank i have a 2006 honda cbr 1000rr i bought this bike new in 2007 i only put 4k on it seance. i am in debates if i should keep it or sell it. The reason i bought it is because my best friend bought one but on thanksgiving week he ended up totaling his bike and that was the only person i rode with. I have a wife and 3 kids so it is very hard for me to ride. i need some help... should i keep it or sell it? what would you do?

welcome.....keep the bike and keep an eye on this site, when the weather improves there will be people putting together rides all over the place :) (pay particular attention to the NEO board)

i think i'll always have a twin as a street bike, or an older 600 modified for a more upright ride. .

I agree with the twin part, but once the ccs get above 900, I become less particular. And the decrease in particularity is directly related to the amount of additional ccs. My low limit of particularity would be around 1349cc. :)
