why the hell do they want "loud pipes on the right?" Why does it matter?

I'm a firm believer that "loud pipes annoy neighbors and give cruiser riders a bad rep," but even if the 'guide' is hinting at the noise 'saving lives,' what would be the purpose of keeping louder bikes to the right?

That's right those cruiser dummies shouldn't even be allowed on the road. Blocking up perfectly good roads with their rolling road blocks. They should take that shit to the track or the parking lot at a local bike night.

Nah, cruiser guys are fun. Rolling chicanes make things interesting...
