gen3flygirl Posted April 21, 2010 Report Share Posted April 21, 2010 As the title says my procrastinating ass decided to put off getting the spare keys for my bike made. I had a bit of free time after part of my schedule opened up so I was going to use that time wisely to finally do some errands. First thing to do was get my spares from Carl zepf since a lot of recommended him. As I was getting gas I went to shut the fuel cap and the damn key snapped off in the lock " MOTHER F****R". I had to call Mahdey to grab his ramps and come pick me up. We were able to get the bike over to zepf's. Not only were they able to get the key out of the lock but they were able to make the spares. I do have two barrel keys, one stays in my riding jacket pocket, the other is in the home safe w/the key code attached.A spare key is cheap insurance (3bucks as ..flygirl pointed out) and you can easily store one spare in each of your riding jackets.
