chrisboult
Just moved to the Cincinnati area from Texas and decided to buy something a bit more conducive to my wife coming out with me! So traded the Kawasaki ZRX-1200 for a ZX-14 Concours. Just about 350 miles on the clock so far and eager to start discovering great roads around here! Any good suggestions for 2 hour, 4 hour, daylong and longer rides?

cOoTeR
Welcome. Check out south east Ohio. Don't take map quest directions though they may bring you through Columbus.

CattaniAFJ
If you're in the Cincinnati area...go down to Northern Kentucky. Roads to check out (all KY ST RTs):91510221504539165227 (I think...or 222, not sure)Assfault Junkies MC ride these roads weekly.
newOldUser
Welcome to the site. Enjoy your ride.A nice somewhat relaxing two-up ride is us-52 along the river heading east out of cincinnati. To change things up on the way back you can cross the river and ride KY-8 coming back. The only thing I don't like about us-52 is that the trees are sometimes close to the roads edge and deer will just step out of the tree line onto the road in front of you. Makes for some real butt-pucker moments.

chrisboult
Yes, totally agree. I've now done this ride twice and it's the first time I have been more concerned about the deer than the humans in their 4 wheel boxes! The KY8 on the way back is a fun ride for certain.
