Storage Solution in an apartment

I live in an apartment and about to purchase a shotgun to go along with my other handguns. Also, going to be stocking up on a lot of ammo as well and trying to figure out a better storage solution than under my bed

I guess I should probably look into that. I just always think gun safe as large vault that is hard as shit to move, plus from what I've seen there are ones that are too big or too small

No kids, no lock

But lacking that, you can get a LEO cruiser style lock, put it in the closet and just lock the shotgun to it... just make sure you give me a key :D

For now it will probably be 3-4 guns and a bunch of ammo. A shotgun and a couple handguns and in the future definitely considering adding some rifles to the fold

I'll have to look into the safe solution more. I'm just not quite sure how long I will be where I'm at today, could be 6 months could be 6 years so I don't want to deal with the hassle of moving a big ass fire proof safe. Plus I have no basement so whatever I get will be going in my bedroom

Put the shotgun next to your headboard. Strategically place handguns in hidden spots around the house. Buy a safe or lock box to store your ammo. Bolt safe to the floor in a hidden spot. Prepare for zombie attack.

A friend of mine was in a temporary house and wanted his guns locked up so he bought a Homak metal safe and made a liner for it out of drywall. He cut the drywall to fit and glued it in with Liquid Nails then bolted the safe in a closet, out of sight and out of mind. A fire resistant safe for cheap.

Just go to dicks and get a small stack-on brand safe for 200-300 bucks will hold your handguns and a few shotgun/rifles and plenty of ammo. Would be pretty easy to move, later on and will still bolt to the wall.

This is what I would do for the time being. It will do for you just fine.
