His Mini14 is a 1in9 so he could shoot 62gr ok.

Theoretically this is green tip armor piercing. A steel core in a lead bullet. Dunno.

62gr bullets are stable in the faster barrel twists. Like 1 in 7. Although 1 in 9 is acceptable.

They have cheapo 55gr for $189/1000.

Just buy the 55grain until you know what the difference is. 62 grain wont give you any extra benefit for that setup and what you will be using it for.
