Waiting behind dozens and dozens of Harleys around every turn isn't my

idea of relaxing :o

Holiday weekend + nice weather = LOTS of Harleys out in Hocking

Sorry but I'll pass on that equation.

This is what I'm planning...

- 62 South from 270/Columbus to Washington Courthouse

- 41 South from Washington Courthouse to 73 East in Locust Grove

- 73 East to 772 North in Rarden to Chillicothe

- Left/West on 50 (Main St) in Chillicothe to 104 North

- 104 North back to Columbus

Ok, your loss :p We are hoping to take routes to avoid a lot of traffic.

I can meet folks in Carroll, or Swing'R 's route looks good, I do a lot of Hocking and there is a lot to explore there, I just don't like the crowds and the cruisers are slllooooowww... even by Vstrom standards. Swing'R when you taking off?

When do you think you will be in Washington CH?

Depends on when I take off. I just got up, looks like two people interested including yourself,

so what time do you think sounds good for you? I don't have any time based plans today so I can do whenever.

Whatever time the the three of us can decide on. I'm up for anytime. Discuss.

I've come up with a total of 178 miles for my planned route. Will be getting ready soon.

Gonna hit the shower then give the bike the once over and start getting my gear togehter.

Anyone wanna go give me a call @ 614-259-8487, if I don't answer leave a message.

BTW, if you're planning on coming on this, bring some cash, I know for a fact the gas station

in Rarden at 73 and 772 doesn't take credit cards!

Heading out shortly. Looks like I'm riding solo, no one's called to confirm.

That's okay, I like riding alone too :p

Be safe everyone that's heading out today.

Someone really needs to do something about this "you can only email once every 120 minutes" deal lol. It makes it kinda rough to collaborate plans for a ride without taking over a thread lol.

That goes away after 50 posts I believe...that's to keep spammers away.

Well I just got back from my solo ride down 41,73,772,104 as posted earlier.

Good time, no real traffic on my route, saw zero cops and only a handful

of cruisers on 41 and a couple on 104, didn't see any other bikes on 772.

Road conditions... 41 was almost perfect except for the first mile or two south of Bainbridge,

kinda rough thru there. 73 beautiful (that road always is). 772 on the other hand,

lots of gravel in EVERY one of the 20 and 15mph turns, all the other turns on 772 were clean.

Total miles start to finish.... 210, with the bike getting 53mpg today.

Time to go mow the grass :nono:
