Ohio Riders on Facebook - The profile is going away.

The Facebook profile is quickly reaching the 5,000 friends limit, thus it's going to be phased out. If you're a friend on Facebook, but haven't yet become a fan of the page, be sure to do so if you want to stay connected on Facebook: www.facebook.com/ohioriders.

And just an FYI, if/when the site goes down, updates are posted on this Facebook page.

ha deleting and facebook don't go together...

i thought fb implemented a new thing where your page automatically becomes a "fan page" once it gets to that 5k threshold.

Nope. Not that I know of, and not that I've read.

I have a Facebook Group. Can it be converted into a Page?

It is currently not possible to convert Facebook groups into Pages. We recommend that you create a Page and notify your group members about it. Note that you will not be able to send your group a message if your group has more than 5,000 members.

edit: Google+ , just sayin'
