My new cage

2011 WRX Limited. I traded an 08 Civic SI on it. I wanted something fun to drive and all wheel drive for the winter.

I added a SPT Performance cat-back system which gives it a nice rumble without being overly loud.

Inside. Has pretty much everything but nav and power seats. The leather heated seats are comfy and it has heated outside mirrors too.

How is it in the snow? I've never tried AWD in it yet.

In the snow it is so much fun it should be illegal.

It is easy to induce oversteer, and once you have it, it's equally easy to control it.

I have winter tires for mine.

Warning though. Traction is about tires, not which wheels are powered. So if you overcook it then...

FWD = understeer = you slide into the ditch forwards

RWD = oversteer = you slide into the ditch backwads

AWD = half/half = you slide into the ditch sideways

I drove my Brothers GFs Legacy on ice roads last year and couldn't believe that it could still take off so quick.. awesome WRX

Just have to remember it has no better braking or cornering than a regular car - as I like to say; "This car is MUCH FASTER than pretty much any other car out there - meaning it can get me into trouble MUCH FASTER than pretty much any other can out there..."

^^^. All undeniably true.

I will not achieve tier1 shittyBuell Baller status for at least 4 more years.

Plus wifey is starting law school now so that's more $$$ I'm putting out.

Hence the Evo, aka Poor mans AMG. :D
