Any Best Buy, HH Gregg or anyone that sells TV look in here

Best Buy has the TV I want on sale for $1900 shipped. Problem is no local stores have it and has to be shipped to their store. They tell me its 3-5 days to get it to the store but with my luck I'm doubting that and if I'm going to buy it I would need it no later than Saturday.

So any Best Buy employees know a trick to ensure getting it with the quickness?

Or for that matter can anyone get/find a place that I can get the Sharp LC70LE632U for that price, essentially $2k out the door with tax. I tried my local HH Gregg and they couldn't match it.

I'm pretty much sold on this model unless someone can point out a different 70"+ tv for less than $2k with comparable or better options

So you wanting it for the Super Bowl? That's a big one for sure. Why not find someone that has one where you can drive and get it? You have Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis all within 2 hrs or so.

You might try googling it...

I'm in Cleveland. I was at my Best Buy store and nobody within 100 miles has it in store I was told. HH Gregg has it in stock but they came in a good $200 over what Best Buy has it for and wouldn't budge even after I showed them the Best Buy deal. The best I could do on Amazon was the same price as HH Gregg so that option was ruled out as I'd rather just pick it up than have it shipped. I've racked my brain at all options I could think of before I came here.

The problem is my cheapness has kicked in. Since I've seen it for $1900, I won't rest until I get it for $1900 or less.

also the Sears find is double awesome because I have one of their reward cards which should net me a couple blu-ray's as well

I'd totally have gone for the 80" but I can buy 2 70s for the price of 1 80 :nono:

btw, I can't believe they have a LCD that big. I thought once you got to like 45-50+ they were all plasma.

its LED Back-lit so that supposedly helps things at that size. I spent a good 30 mins at HH Gregg watching their display model of the one I want trying to see if I could tell if it was worse than my current tv. Couldn't find a single thing different, then I checked the connection and they only had component cables hooked up, not even HDMI so I figure it will be a good purchase

Hell I was just gonna use a projector on a wall a few years back for my place vs spending some serious cash on a tv

I'm sure technology has come a long way since we did this in my fraternity house but I have my qualms about it still that I'd much rather stick with large TV's. At the time it was supposed to be one of the best and this was before HD was a big deal, it was awesome having a 120" screen but it just never seemed as good as a tv without the proper screen

PS...Serpent won this round so you all can turn this thread into whatever the hell you want

I saw that and was literally about to get up and go get it now, then I saw the one by my office has 7 left so I'll just go tomorrow on my way home from work :D

I have no idea, I'm still renting this place so I wouldn't mount it here. The only house I'm interested in buying wouldn't be able to mount so it doesn't really bother me if it is or isn't

Sears will deliver for free but unless they can do it Saturday I have a feeling this bitch will be coming home in my truck and my roommates gonna have to help me pull it out of the truck...thankfully no stairs. My 52" will have to go upstairs
