just thought Id add this for anyone who just now decides to open this thread

ORIGINAL POST

I'm looking at a rebuilt one with 16K, is there anything I should look for with it being rebuilt? Also says it needs new steering bearings

Then I would say check it out. People rag on katanas but it would be loads better then the ltd 454 for sport riding. Yeah they are a little goofy looking but they are reliable bikes. Just stay away from the coshocton ride they seem to crash a lot of katanas there? Here is another one that looks pretty good.

I honestly don't know my self :dunno:

I've had a cruiser for about 2 years, with some time in between bikes, and I find myself trying to lean and take curves fast. I need something with adequate power to carry a 5'10" 270lb me (hopefully dropping weight soon as I'm working on it now 230 is the goal) be relatively reliable and just overall fun to ride I have all the gear for a sport bike without the sport bike lol I have someone interested in buying my 454 and if that works and I get $1500 (current asking price) I'll look at just getting a loan and making a down payment with the 454 money.

I find my self drawn to any bike with a ZX on it thought :D
