WSBK Race 1 @ Phillip Island today! Did you see those wrecks??

At the starting line, one couldn't get going and got hit by 3-4 bikes and messed him up. They had to red flag the race and when they did in the 1st lap, Carlos Checa, Sofaglu, and someone else came around a corner too fast and couldn't slow for the bikes that already slowed and had a horrible wreck. Stretchers and all were involved. It was a wild start. I've never seen one happen at the starting line! I only saw the first 5 laps of Race 1 so far. I have them both on DVR and will finish them both tonight. Just curious if others watched those crazy accidents?

Yeah, Biaggi's in race 2 was one fast wreck. They mentioned around 150mph. He got lucky just like they mentioned that he just barely made it under the bike. If that bike would've landed on him it would've killed him for sure. That was a vicious wreck for sure. Bayliss dominated this round. Troy Corser (one of my fav's) had a chance but then wrecked out while he was at the front. I can't believe Checa made 2nd place, because he normally just crashes out of every race..lol.

Checa never crashed that much in MotoGP.

Yeah Fabrizio was hit by 2 bikes, clipped one then got drilled by the last one.

I wish they hadn't thrown the red flag just as everyone entered Lukey Heights. that is the worst place to throw the flag, cause you are Knee down over a hill that you have to situp and brake for immediately so waving your hand it not really an option though some were starting to slow up. Had they thrown it out of Siberia it probably would have been ok. With that much Debri on the Grid they should have know it would need to be flagged.
