Lilbit
Since I have already put my two cents out there I guess I should introduce myself. I don't own a motorcycle but with the cost of gas I am really considering buying one. But for now I am just a backpack. I would like to hear from the ladies about what your experience has been. 82packer
NEVER buy a motorcycle to save money. But if you like bikes, take the MSF course and figure out what you like. Welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forumThis^^^ bikes cost A LOT, $300 in and you are negating the benefit of gas savings for the year, and that's being generous. You will spend more than that each year on tires, brakes, oil changes an gear. So it has to be for fun and not fuel economy.

The men do have great advice too....I wanted to take the msf course last summer but I fractured my tailbone. I am planning on taking it this year. It cost $100 here. Need to get a new helmet and some boots. I left those behind when I divorced. And does anyone have a source for gear for petite women. I wear a size 2 petite and have never been able to find gear that fits, sleeves and pants are always way too long.
