ReconRat
Caution advised. It will take a couple of weeks to clear debris. And that would be only the big pieces. All roads will have to be carefully scouted first, I'd think.
drc32-0
As of last night 83 is closed where it T's into 60.78 has a closure in Glouster due to construction, not related to the storm. This closure has an easy by-pass.I rode 821 from Porn City to Dalezell road, about 5 miles north of Marietta, and it was open and relatively clean. Most roads seem to be open and relatively clean.I rode 250 miles yesterday and didn't encounter any closed roads, even 555 was open coming into Zanesville...they were in the process of removing two large trees just south of the first bridge south of Zanesville. If you post a quick reply ,I might be able to scout specific roads for you...not much else to do when the power is out. jschaf
Thanks drc32-0. My ride Tuesday will not be at spirited pace as I have a goldwing, 2 bmw r's & a cbx in the group. I will post back on what we find. Good luck on getting your power restored.
speedytriple
I just rode 212, 151, 9, 147, 800 today all were clear and almost free of debris. Rt 9 and 800 are a little dirty at the southern ends. Watch for heavy equipment and trucks. One section of rt 9 has a one lane light up with the lane closed due to a large tree. You should be fine we ran at a moderate pace and had no issues today.
speedytriple
Also the bridge over rt 70 is still closed and the detour is 3 miles down 70 to the next exit and back.

Blitz
We rode 78 from Mcconnelsville to 83 today to 146 and it was clear there. Pretty sure guys rode 83 all the way to Coshocton.
Unk Greg
Plus One on Kershockton. Total outing was clear roads...crews had been thru where trees were over roads and cut intruding tops off.We rode SR60 from Killbuck south to Warsaw, SR79 to SR586. 586 to O'Bannon Rd. off of 586 and up SR146 then to Brownsville Rd/SR668, to SR669.... a touch of 555 and 78...returning north on 83 as Blitz mentioned above. We took back roads from Dover/N.Philly to return to Killbuck. Evidence of storm....uprooted trees and limbs galore. Danville with bldg damage, but no probs with traveling roads. Nite before Killbuck to Columbus USR62 to 161. No problems with road. You will have problems....unless power back.....with gas stations closed due to power outage or really long lines of folks getting gas. We did frequent stops to top off as we couldn' t be sure if gas would be available. Columbus was cheapest at $3.18....vs Danville @$3.39.Only two road crews encountered in covering entire route and less than 6 spots of loose debris on road surface....mud, gravel or twigs. I did find some limestone(?) dust in a corner that twitched the bike a bit...ride safe and watch for Amish buggies....our biggest obstacle in our ride, but they ain' t out everywhere. jschaf
545 miles today. Roads were relatively clear. Many gas stations were out of gas though. Worst road for gravel was 258. Rode 255 in a downpour.

jschaf
Nice looking CBX from what I can tell by the pic.1979 with about 50,000 miles on it but lots of loving care. He puts on an admirable pace through the twisties, considering. At one of the gas stops he was telling me about how he can really feel the frame flexing in corners.
