TRMN8TR
I can't wait either. I know you've heard of getting beaten like a red-headed stepchild, but just wait till you get beat by the red-headed stepchild. P.S. I am very disappointed in you John...a little birdy told me something I didn't like about you bailing on us. Hoblick
I had my own bike wrenching session last night. Freshened up the forks on the gsxr, mounted up some new Michelin Cups, and just kinda went over the rest of the bike. You boys have fun

jbot
since we're getting closer, can we get a roll call for who is showing up? you don't need to say anything if you're not coming. assume the date is the sat of the cleveland IMS bike show weekend (Jan 26th).just as a refresher:bring yo wifesbring yo kids (if you're brave cause there will be cursing, possibly bike race/porn watching in my little home theater)bring yo meats and/or money (to cook on the grill, or pitch in for food or both)bring yo bike(s) if you want to work on it (if not, that is ok, we'll have lots to do)bring yo beers (or other alcohol of choice, i am not that well stocked, and definitely not enough for a big group of alcoholics)i have lots of room for people to sleep in (so you don't have to drive late and/or drunk), 3 car garage to work on bikes, and we can possibly go to the bike show if you guys want.don't need to bring lube, i salivate constantly and a spitting marksman

TRMN8TR
You know I'll be there. Might even bring the bike to get some help with changing fork oil. I have the Haynes manual and was going to attempt it myself, but never hurts to have a few extra hands.

madcat6183
Bad news, I won't be able to make it as they decided for some unknown reason to move our church annual meeting to the last weekend in Jan. Doesn't make much sense to me since that means we essentially lose 1 month of the year but whatever. I can't miss it this year as I am a voting member etc.I think we will still come up Saturday for the day, but have to leave at a decent hour Saturday PM, something like 7-8pmish to get home at a decent hour. Most likely just myself coming too, don't think the wife will be interested. Sorry guys no homo nighttime BJs.

madcat6183
This post is full of confusing and conflicting info? Yeah, I am always long winded sorry. I will plan to be at the bike show(Isn't that the plan during the day?), then if time allows Saturday to head to Jinu's I will go there too, but I have to leave probably by 8pm to get home at a decent hour. I can't sleep over or stay up there for the drunk homo shennanigans like I had hoped.
RVTPilot
I'm game for this after hitting the show in the AM. r1thumbslasher and I will probably be in tow, and I might gank the forks off my bike and bring them out to refresh the erl. imprez55
I think I should still be able to be there, but I won't be going to IMS. The plan is to bring the bike to mount the track plastics, retrofit a gauge cluster and set up a manual HESD
jbot
if we're doing 4+ sets of forks, we're probably not going to have time to go to IMS. those of you who want to go should go, but those of us with stuff to work on our bikes will probably want to stay at the house to wrench. or we can just make craig do it all? we'll leave him a cart of tools, a crate of beers, and a pile of forks.i'm sure that would end well

jbot
you're the one who knows how to do them, so i'll defer to you. at least 2 of the bikes, the forks will be mounted on the bike. at minimum, mine will be lololol
madcat6183
Well shoot, if I can just come, drink and be fat at your place, I am in. Gatsby have a beer preference? I gotta get him all drunked up with me so I am not drinking alone. JK, I have to drive home after so that ain't happening.

And my forks will be off the bike for certain. Is there any prep I can do to cut down on the wrench time or make things easier once I get to Mennerrrr? jbot
i'll let craig chime in on the prep part, but for the location, my house is near 90 and 44 (firmly in concord township/painesville, one exit past the mentor exit on 90)here it is on maps: https://maps.google.com/maps/place?ftid=0x8831a3ff3b1cef2d:0xba53c9861bba694d&q=route+90+and+state+44&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=41.66972,-81.249805&spn=0.000016,0.000021&t=h&z=16&vpsrc=0. once we get about a week out, i'll pm everyone that is confirmed to be coming my address.
