cOoTeR
This is what I'm thinkingI'm thinking flames belong on firewood not motorcycles. But if they are hot enough to keep you nice an toastey and warm an fuzzy inside, go for it.

Pokey
Green Goblin......sweet!
Kennyb357
I'd go with the first set of flames you posted. More traditional. As soon as you go with something like the 2nd set of pics you posted, it starts to look like every other Ultra/Super/FLHWTF that forego a mortgage payment for their bitchin paintjob. Gonna look sweet tho.

Brownsfan1
This is what I'm thinking I saw a victory the other day with this exact paint sceme. It was at American Biker custom bike shop we have here is Charleston. It looked cool I'm just not a fan of purple.
conn-e-rot
I'm leaning more towards the other one but without the chameleon in the clear I see too many cars and bikes that are chameleon
Brownsfan1
I agree cars with the chameleon in the clear are a dime a dozen.
conn-e-rot
Well the bike is almost done. They tore it all down yesterday to get ready for paint I decided against the flashy colors and it's going black
Brownsfan1
I've been waiting to see the finished product.
conn-e-rot
lowered 1" in front 2" in the rear I haven't found a front wheel that I fell in love with yet so the 21" front and rake kit will wait until I can decide on the wheel. Now that it's going black I think I'm going to pull the exhaust and some other chrome parts in the fall and have them redone in black chrome. TRMN8TR
My personal tastes say you made a good choice going with black. I think the black bike in the OP looks good but the red one...eh. Not a fan of the flashy colors. In the end, it's what makes you happy though.
conn-e-rot
I like the green but I was just worried it'd be too much on this bike
Helmutt
So, I take it you're going bagger style without the topbox? Gonna look pretty cool, especially with the 21" front. Hoblick's HD bagger was a killer lookin' ride, and I'm not an HD fan at all -- post up plenty of pics when she's done!
NinjaNick
Let me keep with OR fashion and say you are going to ruin all cornering. Raise it up, hit the track, and chat about homosexual things with others. Can't wait to see the finished product Man.

Funny thing is according to Arlen Ness lowering the Vision 2" actually greatly improves the handling

conn-e-rot
Got tired of trying to find places to store it without it getting damaged and happened to see someone post on the VOG they were looking for one so I offloaded it.
