If you don't have tickets yet, there's a discount code from Cycle Gear for 15% off general admission tickets - use the code CYCLE GEAR The email doesn't say that there's an expiration date for that code.2 points

Fucking manufactured outrage. There are actual problems in the world but no, let's sign petitions because a product we are never going to buy has a name we don't like. Fuck those people and fuck tc for caving in to them. Same shit happened to a brew pub in my neighborhood. Owner/brewer had a coconut cream ale he called 'pantry dropper' because women loved it. Once he opened his store, people from OTHER STATES AND OTHER COUNTRIES started flaming him on Facebook and Twitter. Over a beer they will never drink in a pub they'll never go to. Fucking useless misdirection of anger.2 points

I've put tourmaster to the test, it'll hold up in a 60 mph lowside. Jacket and pants were worn, but nothing reached my jeans or shirt. That said, I really like my areostitch. I'm 160lbs and 5'11". I talked to them about sizing and watched the clearance rack on their site for what would fit. Got away for not much more than Tourmaster and I feel way better in it. Plus, Merka.1 point

Metal warranty isn’t from the Amish it’s from the lumber yard. The Amish I’m just using to build. They are way cheaper and better. Around here anyway1 point

I built a 24 x 32 last year 10ft wall height. It is an actual barn with 3 sliding barn doors and 1 garage door. I think I did it for like 6k. That is all materials. I did all the labor myself. I bought my metal from the Amish. Saved me $1000-1500. No warranty on metal of course, but I’ve not heard anything good about any of the warranties.1 point

Can we hide the xrs in the back of the Honda element so we don't have to pay for them. ALso does anyone know if they charge any extra for pets. I wouldn't mind bringing Lando because he just likes to hangout1 point

Now now, Timmy... I ain't a pro, never will be, but I like to ride my motorcycle in a safe and friendly atmosphere as hard as I can. Mid Ohio fills that desire pretty well for me, and no, it isnt perfect, nothing ever is. But, damn man, it's a fucking race track, they want you to go fast and corner better and brake better and embarrass your friends on their stupid liter bikes. It doesn't get much better than that.1 point

Wearing hearing protection is illegal in Ohio. If I see any of you doing it I will call the cops.1 point

@Tonik is completely against the use of hearing protection while riding. You should PM him the benefits.1 point

Tourmaster make tall sizes and @RidersDiscount has insane prices on TM stuff. Tourmaster isnt a premium product but they have pick up the slack over the last few years. I'd call them a upperend of a middle of the road line now.I'm currently running the Tourmaster Advanced Jacket and the Overpant. For hotter weather I have a JoeRocket mesh jacket that also comes in tall sizes. Here is the tourmaster size charts I would recommend trying the stuff on at Pony before ordering on line or from RD because TM sizes are generous. https://www.tourmaster.com/sizing_charts I wear a Large Tall Jacket and XL Tall pants and they are a tag big in the waist but i needed the extra length.1 point

So I went back to this Narrowsburg, NY again this year - 4 states and 1,093 miles by the time I got home. It was a great time - there were 6 of us that made the trip from Ohio. I hadn't met the ladies I rode with until we all met up in PA. We got rained on, spent a few hours in a quarter car wash hiding from the rain, explored a haunted castle, drank free beer and stunk up a hotel room the first night will all our wet gear. I learned that riding west out of Breezewood, PA is probably the windiest area, clogged with truck traffic and twisty highways that I've ever seen - it was so stressful, but I survived. And I rode thru a tunnel for the first time too. I posted a bunch of pictures on Instagram if you want to check them out. I know you're all super jelly that you don't have a vagina so you can't attend this annual camping event. LOL1 point
