My apologies. sorry for being vague, i live in delaware, i have been friends with Aj (mjrsplat) for quite a while. any time he needs spare hands around the garage i jump up and help him, like i said im a gearhead and i love to wrench. i dont have a car of my own at the moment but i dont mind getting my hands dirty helping my buddies. also i thought id add, i love lincolns, i even have a lincoln symbol tattooed on my arm, i'll get pics of that soon. if you want to know anything else just ask, mjrsplat told me to post a few pictures of his supra, so here's a couple pictures of his engine bay and all that like i said if you need to know anything else feel free to ask me. oh, and be sure to ask about that time his engine bay caught fire lol that was a little crazy.. it wasnt major, started by a leaking oil feed line, but its all fixed now. anyway, on with the pics. http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb244/98xploder/005.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb244/98xploder/003.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb244/98xploder/100_4419.jpg these pics are straight off photobucket, he told me to mention if i need him to vouch for me he will, so feel free to contact him.5 points

The Kids Just Want to Ride Act is set to be introduced next week by Representative Denny Rehberg (MT) in the U.S. House of Representatives. The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) strongly supports the Kids Just Want to Ride Act and is urging everyone to call their Representative tobecome an original cosponsor. The Act is a legislative exemption for youth-model motorcycles and ATVs from the lead provisions in the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA), known as the Lead Law. The CPSIA effectively banned the sale of small displacement recreational vehicles due to overly restrictive lead content standards. Rehberg recently circulated a "Dear Colleague" encouraging other representatives to become original cosponsors. The AMA needs you and everyone you know that is concerned with the future of youth riding to call your Representative and ask them to cosponsor the Kids Just Want to Ride Act. To call your Representative, click on "Take Action" to insert your zip code in the "Call Action" box to get your Representative's phone number. Or, you can call the Capitol Switchboard at 202-225-3121 and ask for your Representative by name. Call your Representative now and let them know you would like to see them cosponsor the Kids Just Want to Ride Act. http://www.americanmotorcyclist.com/rights/issueslegislation1 point

I was on my company's group plan 2 years ago when i had my son. The total bill from the hospital was around $22,000 (hospital + c-section). Currently we are looking into having another child. I have changed insurance to a private HSA since. So i have been calling the hospital trying to find out how much they charge for having a child. Being that having a HSA you pay for more things with cash. So they tell me that a normal delivery is $3250 if payed up front. Being that the wife needs a c-section it is about $3000 more on top of that. The prices qouted to me by the hospital are for people that are not using insurance or any kind of assistance. Cash up front only. An almost $16,000 difference. Also my mother-in-law does billing for an optometrist and she says there are two different prices for the same service. One for those with insurance and another for those paying cash. Guess which one is lower? But my son's doctor charges $75ish for wellness check-up's which my insurance pays 100% no co-pay. Now if he's sick i pay 100% and charged me $120 for the visit. That is something i still need to haggle with them about. Im a firm believer that somewhat normal routine health care is cheaper to pay right out of your pocket. No need to pay huge premiums for basic health coverage.1 point

so my buddy jimmy (bones514 i believe is his name, i know it has bones in it) at any rate, he just did his intro and said people needed me to vouch for him, that he's my wingman and all. i can vouch, he's always there for me when i need an extra hand on the supra, i cant just jump in his intro and speak on his behalf, apparently whoever posted in his intro said to do so but im still a noob here. :-/, so hopefully nobody gets too mad about this thread, but im just trying to speak for my buddy, he is who he says he is, he's been my dude since middle school, if you guys could give him good rep and let him in i'd appreciate it. THANKS. AJ-1 points
