I've owned a fleet of imports Integra GSR, GC8 Impreza 2.5RS,MKIII Supra, RX7, 240SX, DSMs and a couple Conquests/Starions to name a few. Current project is a 4G63 Conquest using custom parts I've bought/made and Toyota trans parts, I get to it when I can between family and powder coating parts for friends. Hey, new guy from the Cleveland area. I just sold my evo so I don't have anything noteworthy right now, I'm on the lookout for an FD shell for a project car while I finish up school. Apparently since I have 500lbs of tacticool stuff attached to my AR I need a way to mount it to the Harley. Prefer a chrome mount. also since I will be adding weight to the Harley I figure its gonna leak more oil. I need AR quad rail oil can mounts, since the saddle bags ate full of oil. :stirpot:

As of last weekend, but waiting on my application to be accepted, I will be able to conceal carry in Ohio. I'm super excited, BUT Matt and I have been looking at our options. I know what I am hearing from others who have the guns we are considering but they are new themselves. I really like the look and feel of the Springfield XD shb-compact 9mm. Also the Sig Sauer SP2022, both are great deals but I also was thinking of Kel Tec p40. I really like the double saftey on the Springfield. The only downfall I have on the .40 is you really don't have any options for lights or laser mounts. The Sig and Springfield are easy for options. I was just wondering what you guys thought, the Kel Tec would be a good carry gun because its small but lets be serious do you guys carry 24/7? I am mostly at school during the day but.I'm allowed to have it in my car but obviously not on me while on campus. I'm so new at this and am not even sure of the brands. Ive never heard of Kel Tec. Just a little feedback is all I'm after. Thanks!!

The purple was a test run to see how it would come out before I laid it down for a friends cover, came out decent so I threw it on there. I have a pile of 4g covers I'm thinking I'll just match it to the compressor cover until I get time to redo both in some other color. I live near Cleveland, kind of like MGK I don't live in the city I just tell people not from around there I do... I'm a southwest suburb Cleveland wild boy, call me Steve O!

The fact of the matter is that there are going to be officers that will be pricks and write the ticket no matter what. I personally don't agree with that. There are hard working people flat out can't afford to have 25% or more of their weekly pay check taken from a traffic ticket and or court costs. The law is still the law, and officers are still within the scope of their duty and have the legal right to write that ticket. I just don't agree with it personally. If I can keep the roads safe with a warning, I will do it when ever possible.

First impression from the options you presented and the information given I thought you should go with M&P .40, that was until I saw that your "stockpile" of ammo was only 1K. (One weekend class.) That changes things, still using your initial post parameters I say M&P 9mm. If you are looking at this style of handgun though, as others have suggested, a Glock is an excellent choice. If you have some sort of bias against it I understand some peoples unwillingness to change their minds, you don't know what you don't know. If this style of handgun is an interest of yours I would suggest getting the Glock first because you will end up with one sooner or later and be pissed at yourself for wasting money on the others. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I've got more than 2000 hours logged on Civilization V, and watched every show regarding WWII on the History Channel at least 10 times. There isn't an tactical situation that I haven't come across and whipped it's ass into a Military Victory. This will prove no challenge to me. Lights and Lazer mounts huh? On your CCW? Here's some advice, forget about that shit! Adding external lights and lasers to a CCW is ridiculous. Learn how to shoot, practice, practice practice. Its a CCW, youre not going to be clearing rooms with it and if you are, you dont understand the term CCW. Yes some of the models come with Lasers but adding external lights/laser is not something you typically do nor need on a CCW gun. Once you learn the laws of CCW, hopefully this will make more sense to you. Im not trying to be a dick but people need to think a bit more. If you want a laser then get a model with it build in already that is grip activated. You dont want to go fumbling around trying to find the switch to turn one on nor do you want to add the external dimensions to add an external one. Oh and one last thing. The absolute best advice I can give to any CCW holder is to go and enter some IDPA shoots. This will help you better understand what you would deal with in a real life situation while getting your heart rate up, making you think and focus, and actually hit what your aiming at.

And I agree that a religion should not be forced to marry two people they don't want to marry... But in that same post I said that MONOGAMY is not a religious concept. From a purely anthropologic perspective, monogamy is almost ubiqitous. There are rare cultures that practice patriachal polygamy (Based upon their religion! Islam, Mormonism) and even rarer cultures that practice matriachal polygamy... If anyone thinks that monogamy is an invention of Christianity then I'd like to hear their explanation for why so may cultures that have never been exposed to the Bible are monogamous. * I had a debate with somone one time and mentioned a couple sections of the Bible that detail some pretty horrific things about treating women as property and stoning them under certain circumstances, such as if they are victims of rape. I also pointed out that any christian male who has had a vasectomy is barred from heaven. The response? "That's all old testament - we don't believe that stuff any more." This should probably be a whole new thread. Really the purpose is simply to restrict a mandated state religion! It was never meant to keep the ten commandments off the town squares. I am guessing you believe in the incorporation of the Federal Constitution to the states then? Which by the way I don't by the way. The Federal Constitution is meant to protect us from the Federal Government, the states have their own charters or constitutions. Now if we are going to say the First amendment is incorporated to the states, is the 2nd also? If that is the case then no state could make any laws restricting the 2nd amendment. They also could not infringe, and a license to carry my firearm is an infringement in my opinion. I am simply going by the 10th amendment.

I used to know a guy who robbed them years ago. You all may remember it from like the mid 90's. They cut the alarm wires and got away clean with a crap ton of guns. He got caugt up in a sting selling one of the guns and went to the pokey for like 18 months.
