  7. i don't understand why you dont do some more of your day job (the high pay job) part time, instead of working at the low paying job. is the day job something that can only be done during the day, like vampire hunting? are you a highly paid vampire hunter? are they all glittery and shit like the books say... you know... down there?

  8. Sorry, I'm plum out of fucks to give. Your cell phone bill's not going to pay itself though, but keep trolling OR so you can complain about your fucking phone bill one more time. Look on the bright side, at least you'll be able to pretend to go to the MSF with that extra time on your hands.

  10. First off, I never insinuated that the US should model after the Norwegian prison system. Our two cultures are radically different, and what works over there won't necessarily work here and vice versa. What I am commenting on is the monumental stupidity of someone in the United States, with it's culture of incarceration, calling the Norwegian system, with it's culture of rehabilitation, a joke. I don't need to work around prisoners to know the rates of non-violent drug offenders, forced into prisons by mandatory minimum sentencing while the legislators creating such laws cash checks from the private prison industry so they can appear "tough on crime". Regarding this: I find it equally insulting to know that there are prisoners that signed "confessions" (you can read these for starters: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_confession#Coerced_false_confessions) that were coerced either by physical force or other means, simply to bring closure to the case. Our justice system was designed to keep innocent people out of jail and to mete out punishments fitting the crime, not to put guilty people in jail, or to throw mandatory sentences around (this should be good for starters, 55 years in jail for dealing $350 worth of pot), and any perversion of that is a huge stain on our society as a country. I see you're using the ol' "if you have a better idea..." defense. As a matter of fact, I do, and it one that just so happens to be supported by a plurality of Americans. Legalize marijuana and pull back 90% of the powers and regulations given during the war on drugs. No more civil forfeiture, no more "States vs. 17,000 in US Currency", no more stop-and-frisks, no more overflights of herbicides over sovereign nations (killing legitimate crops in the process), payoffs and dealings with international drug organizations (the Contras come to mind), and, best of all, the amount of arrests and activity through the legal system goes down by roughly 1.5 MILLION arrests per YEAR, with 500,000 of them going to prison. I'd imagine that those number encapsulate all drugs, so just imagine if you could cut that number in half. While we're on the subject of dumbass laws, you could give the Lacey Act a look, just ask this person who's crime was importing lobster tails in a clear plastic container instead of a cardboard container, in violation of a Honduran statute that the Honduran government ITSELF said in a brief to the court that is out-of-date and no longer enforced. 8 years for 3 members of the action, 2 years for another. I can go on and on, really. All I'm saying is you should take a damn good look at yourself as a country and what's happening inside of your own borders before you hate on another country's culture and morality.

  13. I call shens on all the experience; no way you were able to learn all those adequately with the learning curve you possess for riding. Unless of course your "experience" is more of a manual labor type of a thing, then I can understand. What machining and IT experience do you have (we have a lot of those on the board FYI)?

I have seen people talk about this site for a good little bit on SupraForums and SVTperformance.com and thought I would check it out! I love car forums for knowledge and to help with some of the knowledge that I have when asked for! I use alot of exclamation marks to end my sentence so hopefully no one thinks I trying to make a point!!lol

  25. This thread hurts my head trying to read and follow it. #1 He's your boss, if it a first second or even a third job he signs your paychecks your life DOES revolve around him. #2 You dont "NEED" a brand new SUV to raise 2 kids, i raised mine with a POS grand am that i drove for 13 years and got along just fine. #3 Things must not be that bad you ride a almost brand new bike. Between my kids ages of 1 and 10 i didnt have a bike, I had a lot bigger priorities then, and when i did get a bike it was a 11 year old one not new or almost new. When my kids were younger i had to make a lot of scrifices. I didnt get new cars, or bikes, or fancy cell phones or have a x-box or HD TV or any of that crap. Yea i have nice stuff now but i paid my dues and swallowed my pride and lick my wounds hundreds of times. Life dosnt owe you you or any of us anything, and i think you should have a little more respect for the man that signs your pay check. I dont really love the company i work for but without them id have nothing and i know and understand that, so i give then the respect they deserve. And #4 please, please, please..phone or no phoe work on your grammar. Mines not perfect but at least its not hard to follow and read when i type.

  27. Dude, you realize that I really don't care, right? I know you have a family to support and I know you have a sob story and I know all this because you never.shut.up.about.it. The reason I don't care is because in spite of all that, you continue to make decisions that undermine your financial and physical safety and, by extension, the safety of your family, yet when people remind you of this and attempt to correct your error that we see like clockwork every fucking Spring, we're dismissed because you don't have the time or you can't be bothered to watch some Youtubes or read a book. You are the worst kind of squid, and you're the type of person I'll hopefully won't be reading about in a blurb some August who wrapped his bike around a guardrail at Wayne, leaving behind tens of thousands (hundreds of thousands if you're lucky enough to survive) of medical bills and your kids without a breadwinner. Yet here you are, livejournaling again, completely oblivious to your situation.

  28. Stupid rain.... it got here earlier than I thought it would. Just a sprinkle getting home though. (He said as it continues to sprinkle on into real rain...) edit: Currently a small storm center with a VIL = 2kg per square meter at 19 knots VIL is the amount of liquid water that the radar detects in a vertical column of the atmosphere for an area of precipitation. I know, you'all heard "blah blah blah blah"

  32. Because god forbid a woman with independence and a little bit of self respect exists on CR. I feel as though your rude attempt at "woman jokes" is in fact your last attempt at being funny. When Patterson posts them, I laugh, because he does it all in good humor. You on the other hand, should focus more on your own self respect. You should also stop posting your "I don't care about what anyone thinks" threads as well, because as it is stated above by someone else, you actually do care. My relationship should be the last thing that you should be concerned about.

  33. After reading this thread, I have concluded that Hal and Cordell have more in common than they think. Refrence my post in Cordell's "Self Hate" thread, and apply to Hal in this thread. There are still some things that are true, however, and I will post them here. 1.) WNAPLAY is learning disabled, there can be no other explanation. 2.) Cordell hates Hal, and probably me, but nowhere near as much as he hates himself. 3.) Moderators are like referees in professional sports. The more you know they're there, the worse job they are doing. Everytime something gets moderated, a mod is failing at his real job, which is to act in a way that dissuades people from doing things that need moderated. 4.) There are GOOD mods on CR. Really good ones. But some of you guys would be doing the board (and probably yourselves) a service if you closed your accounts yesterday.

  35. Don't forget when doing gun photography to take the same pictures multiple times with different lighting. It's amazing what changes sometimes. These two pics were taken back to back. First is without a flash, the second with one. Now granted I flubbed the exposure on the flash photo but it did a great job of bringing out the beauty of the wood that you would otherwise never see unless in direct sunlight.
